NVIDIA GPU benchmarks on Intel platform run on an EVGA nForce® 790i Ultra SLI motherboard with 2 GB DDR3 system memory using Windows Vista SP1.

NVIDIA GPU benchmarks on AMD platform run on Asus M3N-HT Deluxe motherboard with 2 GB DDR2 system memory using Windows Vista SP1.

NVIDIA GPU drivers used are 177.83.

3DMark Vantage is run in Extreme mode, PCMark Vantage is run at 10x7 setting, Bioshock is run at 19x12 and 4x16x setting, Call of Duty is run at 19x12 and 4x16x setting, Company of Heroes is run at 19x12 and 4x16x setting, and Crysis is run at 19x12 and 4x16x setting.

PCMark Vantage score for single card configurations is used for equivalent SLI configurations. All other tests are run in all configurations.

Intel and AMD CPUs are run at default clocks.

Relative PC performance is calculated as mean of all successfully running benchmarks of the Optimized PC as compared to the Traditional PC.

Intel GMA 3500 FPS score on Bioshock, Company of Heroes, and Sims2 are considered fails, as Intel GMA 3500 is not capable of running at 4X anti-aliasing.

The Microsoft Virtual Earth test measures the frames per second (FPS) of a 40 second flyby over 2 areas of San Francisco. FPS is measured with FRAPS.

The HD Video Transcoding test measures the time required to transcode a MPEG-2 1280x720x30 at 20Mb/S video file to the iTunes Apple TV format. The CPU is tested with iTunes to do the transcoding. The GPU is tested using BadaBoom Transcoder from Elemental Technologies
